FAQs
and other helpful information
How many students are in each class?
Our class numbers range from 3 students up to 15 or 20. This is all dependent on the number of students that are at a comparable ability level, as we group our students this way. Sometimes, different levels of technique classes are combined for larger production numbers such as our kickline that performs at all our recitals and occasionally competes at competition.
Do I need previous experience?
We accept beginner students of any age. However, families must understand that they will be placed according to their ability level and may need to be placed with younger students in order to gain dance foundations before being able to dance with their own age group. There are also opportunities for one on one private instruction with one of our teachers upon request and availability of the teacher.
What do I need to bring?
For each class, the student must be dressed according to the dress code and have the appropriate shoes for each of their classes. Students who are wearing a leotard and tights MUST wear a coverup when coming to and leaving from the studio for their own safety. For more information or clarification, please call us during our studio hours.
What is the cost per class?
Since tuition costs are sometimes adjusted, we do not list them on our website. Tuition is billed per 4, 5, or 8 week sessions based on the calendar. On the first week of the session, the tuition is due for that session. Please call us for the most up-to-date tuition rates.
Is there a dress code?
As a recreational studio, we have a relaxed dress code. Students are expected to dress in one of the two options below:

Option A: Leotard and tights of any color and the appropriate shoes for each class. For those wearing tights, we request NO underpants or socks be worn.

Option B: Dance pants and a lightweight athletic shirt of any color, long socks, and the appropriate shoes for each class.

All students must have their hair secured away from the face. A ballet bun is recommended, but not required. Students must remove piercings during class as a safety precaution. If they must leave them in to heal, they should be covered with a bandaid or other tape.
What is your class schedule?
Our schedule is readjusted each year based on our enrollment and the schedules of our instructors, therefore we are unable to post a permanent version. In general, our younger/beginner students attend classes on Saturday mornings/afternoons, older/more advanced students attend in the evenings throughout the week, and our competition team rehearses on Sunday afternoons.
